Winners of CPS GfK's Out of Home Formula Monitor 2023 announced!

The winners of the CPS GfK's Out of Home Formula Report 2023 have been announced. On 7 November, the winners received a visit from the CPS GfK OOH team during which the trophy was handed over. I love Sushi, Brownies&downieS, Vitam and SPAR, chosen as winners of 2023, were voted best in their category.

Recent visitors of OOH formulas gave their opinions for the 8th time this year in the large-scale consumer survey on guest satisfaction. Enjoyment remains once more the most important aspect. As consumers, inflation has made us more critical of our spending and cheap has become more important. Despite these developments, we see that, except for the On the Move category, on average guests are more positive.

In this year's Fastservice category, there were two nominees working in the sushi segment. In the end, I Love Sushi was declared the winner, with only small differences determining the final verdict. I Love Sushi eventually won because they scored better than other players especially on their price perception.

Brownies&downieS is the best Coffee & Lunch formula again this year. They still manage to positively surprise their guests and score even higher than last year in many aspects. According to recent visitors, they excel in enjoyment and hospitality, which is also considered important to consumers.

Within the At Work category, Vitam won this year. A category where hard work has been done on the price perception which Vitam has done best out of all the players.

SPAR is the new winner in the On the Move category with its city, express and university concepts. A category that is under pressure in terms of overall assessment, which is mainly due to the concept of 'Goedkoop'. SPAR managed to improve its position especially on Convenience and there is also an upward trend on Hospitality.

The basis for the awards is the CPS GfK OOH Formula Report. This consumer survey charts the guest satisfaction of almost 70 Out of Home formulas. Ratings of the formulas are based on the 7 G model (gemak, genieten, goedkoop, gastvrij, gezond, goed geweten en goed verhaal).
